Quigley seeking $2M for Arlington Heights to help the village comply with lead water line replacements

Arlington Heights may get financial help from the federal government to help the village meet mandates on replacing all lead water service lines, after U.S. Rep. Mike Quigley asked Congress for the funding. Student Council President Ava Nicholson gave the first welcome address at the Oak Park-River Forest Class of 2024 commencement ceremony, encouraging her classmates to be proud of their efforts and their journey to the May 26 day. “You should all be very proud of where you are right now and what you’ve gone through to get to this moment,” she said.
