About 13 people were injured, three seriously, in a CTA bus crash Friday morning in the Chatham neighborhood, officials said.
Shortly before 10:45 a.m., ambulances were sent to a vehicle accident involving a van and a CTA bus at 79th Street and Cottage Grove Avenue. Fire officials said 13 people were taken to area hospitals following the crash.
Three people were reported as in serious condition, and seven were listed in fair condition, officials said. Three people were listed in good condition.
