15-year-old girl among 4 wounded Monday night at business in the Back of the Yards neighborhood

Chicago police responded to a call of shots fired Monday night in the Back of the Yards neighborhood where at least four victims were shot including a 13-year-old girl.

Shortly before 8:30 p.m., the victims told officers they were inside a business in the 1500 block of West 51st Street when they heard gunfire and the windows breaking,

A 13-year-old girl suffered wounds to the lower back, and was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital in fair condition A 48-year-old woman suffered wounds to the upper left arm, and was taken in good condition to UChicago Medicine. A 29-year-old woman was taken to the same hospital and liksted in critical condition with a wound to the back of the neck. Her condition was later updated to good.  Another woman, 57, was struck to the right hand to the middle finger, and was taken in good condition to St. Bernard Hospital, police said.

No one was in custody, and detectives were investigating the circumstances leading up to the shooting.
