Two men got themselves to UChicago Medicine after being shot multiple times Tuesday night in the West Woodlawn neighborhood, Chicago police said.
Shortly before 8:15 p.m., two men, ages 23 and 27, suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the torso while sitting in a vehicle that was parked in the 6700 block of South Eberhart Avenue, police said.
The men got themselves to the hospital where they were both listed in critical condition, police said.
A preliminary investigation revealed the men were shot by someone in a traveling vehicle.
No one was in custody for the shooting, and detectives were investigating.
