2 people attacked, stabbed inside South Deering restaurant, police say

Two people were injured after they were attacked and stabbed inside a South Deering neighborhood restaurant early Saturday morning, according to Chicago police. 

Officers responded to reports of a stabbing around 12:33 a.m. in the 2000 block of East 95th Street, police said. Two women armed with a sharp object attacked a 22-year-old man and 30-year-old woman inside a restaurant, police said. 

The male victim sustained a laceration to his chin and refused emergency services. The woman sustained a laceration to her face, and was transported to University of Chicago Medical Center in fair condition, police said. 

The two attackers self-transported to Advocate Trinity Hospital, and are listed in fair condition with multiple injuries, police said. They were placed in custody, and police said detectives are investigating.
