Two men were seriously wounded in a shooting Friday night in the North Austin neighborhood on the West Side, Chicago police said.
Shortly after 11:30 p.m., a 40-year-old man and a 24-year-old man were outside in the 5500 block of West LeMoyne Street when they both were wounded in a drive-by shooting, police said.
The older man suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the body, and was taken in fair condition to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park. The younger victim suffered a gunshot wound to the shoulder and two wounds to the neck, and was taken to Stroger Hospital where he was listed in critical condition, policed said.
No one was in custody, and detectives were investigating.
