Law & Order column: Grayslake Police to hold community roll calls at offsite locations

The Grayslake Police Department has announced a community roll call program designed to foster closer interaction between its officers and the community they serve. GPD said it is willing to conduct roll call meetings at offsite locations in Grayslake and Hainesville. The meetings are usually held at the station and last about five to 15 minutes. They take place twice a day, at the start of each 12-hour shift, and are designed to let supervisors inform patrol officers of important information they need to know.
