DuPage County sheriff’s office investigating slaying of man near Lombard
The DuPage County sheriff’s office is investigating the murder of a man who was shot to death in the driveway of his suburban home in unincorporated Lombard on Monday night. At approximately 9:30 p.m. Monday, deputies responded to a reported shooting near the intersection of 16th Street and Meyers Road. Alaa Ghnimat, 38, was found unresponsive inside his parked car with a fatal gunshot wound.
