When it comes to looking after our planet, it seems the future may just be in female hands. In my opinion, it seems today’s young women are more progressive about environmental issues and they may end up being the ones setting the standard for future generations.

Man, 30, fatally wounded Friday morning on South Side
A 30-year-old man was fatally wounded Friday morning in a shooting on the South Side in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood, Chicago Police said. Shortly before 6:45 a.m., the man was getting into his vehicle in the 7900 block of South Wabash Avenue when people approached and opened fire, police said. The victim was taken to UChicago Medicine where he was pronounced dead. The gunmen fled the scene in an unknown direction, police said. No one was in custody and detectives were investigating.
