A 72-year-old pedestrian was left in critical condition after he was struck by a pick-up truck while walking in the crosswalk in the Rogers Park neighborhood, Chicago police said. Around 7:15 p..m., the victim was walking in the crossway in the 7300 block of North Clark Street when he was struck by a pickup truck headed east. The victim suffered trauma to the head, and was taken to St. Francis Hospital where he was listed in critical condition, police said. A 19-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman were both shot Wednesday night while driving on DuSable Lake Shore Drive in the Near North neighborhood, Chicago police said.
