Niles Township District 219 teachers to get 4.4% raises under new contract
Niles Township High School District 219 teachers and staff are starting off the school year with a new contract that guarantees raises for the next four years, smaller classroom sizes and improved benefits. The board of education approved the teachers’ contract at its meeting on Tuesday. With interviews of applicants seeking to become the next New Trier High School superintendent set to start next month, an executive search firm has provided the school board information a report containing stakeholder perceptions of the school and priorities for the next administrative leader.
