Man discovered fatally wounding in vehicle Tuesday night in West Ridge
Officers responding to a call about a suspicious vehicle with an occupant inside Tuesday night discovered a man fatally wounded in the West Ridge neighborhood, Chicago police said. Shortly after 10:45 p.m., officers responding to a call reporting a suspicious vehicle in the 5600 block of North California Avenue found a bullet riddled car with an unresponsive man inside, Chicago police said. The man, described as about 40 years of age, had suffered a wound to his abdomen and abdomen and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. No one was in custody and detectives were investigating.
