Three people are in critical condition after a shooting in the city’s Humboldt Park neighborhood Sunday afternoon, according to Chicago police.
Shortly before 3:30 p.m., three people were shot multiple times outside a residence on the 4200 block of West Crystal Street. One of them, a 16-year-old boy, suffered a gunshot to his right armpit and transported himself to St. Mary Hospital in good condition. According to preliminary information from police, he was later transported to Stroger Hospital where he was listed in critical condition.
An 18-year-old man was shot in the torso and right arm and transported himself to St. Mary Hospital, and a 23-year-old man was shot in the neck and groin and went to Norwegian Hospital. Both men were last listed in critical condition and also moved to Stroger Hospital.
Police said no arrests had been made as of Sunday evening, and area detectives are investigating.
