A 30-year-old woman was found lying on the sidewalk shot Monday night in the Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side, Chicago police said.
Shortly after 9:15 p.m., a woman was discovered outside in the 7700 block of South Dobson Avenue with a gunshot wound to the left leg. She was taken to UChicago Medicine where she was listed in critical condition, police said.
No one was in custody, and detectives were investigating.
