33-year-old found fatally wounded early Wednesday morning on Far South Side

A 33-year-old man was discovered fatally wounded Wednesday morning outside on the Far South Side in the Roseland neighborhood, Chicago police said.

Shortly after 5 a.m., the victim was found unresponsive in the 10100 block of South Prairie Avenue with multiple gunshot wounds to the body. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

No one was in custody and the circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting are being investigated.
