Five people were shot early Sunday morning after two men argued in Little Village, police said.
At around 3:38 a.m., a 30-year-old was arguing with another man on the 3500 block of West 30th Street, according to police. The unidentified man pulled out a gun and shot the 30-year-old before fleeing the scene in a white van.
The 30-year-old man was taken to Stroger Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds to the leg. Several people nearby were also struck by the gunfire, including a 22-year-old woman, a 48-year-old woman and a 53-year-old man. They were taken to local hospitals in good condition, police said.
A 30-year-old woman was also struck multiple times and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition.
No arrests have been. Chicago police are investigating.
