Republican attorney general candidate: 'Where they do not enforce the law, we will enforce it'

David Shestokas, a Republican candidate for Illinois attorney general, said if elected his office would prosecute criminal caxses “whete appropriate” if a county state’s attorney declines to file charges. He accused top prosecutors in Cook and Lake counties of failing to enforce the law.
