Donnie Rudd, convicted four years ago of the 1973 murder of his bride of less than one month for $120,000 in life insurance payouts, died in prison, Illinois Department of Corrections officials confirm. At the time of his death, Rudd, 80, was four years into his 75- to 150-year sentence.
