CHICAGO (AP) – Grain futures were mixed Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for Dec. fell 7 cents at $8.39 a bushel; Dec. corn was was off 3.25 cents at $6.7925 a bushel; Dec. oats was up 8.75 cents at $3.9225 a bushel; while Nov. soybeans advanced 27.75 cent at 14.5225 a bushel. Beef was higher and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Dec. live cattle rose 1 cent at $1.5222 a pound; Nov. feeder cattle was up .05 cent at $1.7877 a pound; Dec. lean hogs was off .72 cent at $.8295 a pound.
