Berkley offering workplace violence coverage

NAPERVILLE — Berkley Program Specialists said it now provides workplace violence commercial insurance coverage in select states.Berkley announced a partnership with Talage, a management platform for commercial insurance, to offer this new product line. This new coverage was introduced last week in select states with additional states to follow, the company said.Berkley Program Specialists is an insurance operation that provides program administrators with coverage as well as program management expertise and, when required, reinsurance support.”We’re pleased to deliver on our mission to connect the commercial insurance industry through aggregated and simplified integrations across the distribution channel,” said Greg Douglas, president of Naperville-based Berkley Program Specialists. “Workplace violence is too often a reality and we’re proud to be one of the first to give access to agents on our platform in a seamless fashion.”
