A 41-year-old man was fatally shot in the Bronzeville neighborhood early Friday morning, according to police. The man was shot in the neck while driving a Volvo sedan in the 4700 block of S. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive about 3:15 a.m., police wrote in a media notification. He drove into a vacant lot before crashing in an alley and was pronounced dead at the University of Chicago Medical Center.
