An off-duty Chicago police officer was involved in a shooting Friday afternoon in the West Side’s Lawndale neighborhood, Chicago police said.The shooting, which happened around 12:05 p.m. in the 1200 block of South Kedvale Avenue, left one person injured with a gunshot wound, according to a statement from the department. The person was in good condition at Mount Sinai Hospital.
