Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot says President Trump’s actions before US Capitol siege constituted a crime, but she has concerns about possible impeachment efforts

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot on Monday said President Donald Trump’s actions last week incited the mob attack on the U.S. Capitol and constituted a crime. But the first-term Democratic mayor and frequent Trump adversary also expressed concerns about a second impeachment effort because the process wouldn’t end before his term expires on Jan. 20 and President-elect Joe Biden is sworn in.
