It might have taken Killer Mike a decade to offer a solo music project — “Michael” — but the rapper hailing from Atlanta has certainly kept his amplified voice active. And this week he kicked off a 19-city tour that brings him to Chicago’s Pitchfork Music Festival on Sunday, July 23.
