The Bears’ first road trip of the season will be an extended one. They will be spending four days in Indiana ahead of Saturday’s preseason matchup with the Indianapolis Colts. On Wednesday and Thursday. The Bears can, arguably, learn more about themselves during the two joint practices than they will in the actual preseason game. All NFL teams are cautious with their starters during preseason games. Nobody wants to risk their stars sustaining injuries.
