The Wilmette Village Board during its Jan. 9 meeting voted in favor of a slew of lighting, noise and other zoning variances and special uses allowing Loyola to erect 62 foot high light poles and a new sound system at Hoerster Field. This would allow the school to hold night games for the first time ever.
