The NFL season concludes in Las Vegas where the 49ers and Chiefs face off for Super Bowl LVIII.
Both teams look a bit different from the last meeting (Super Bowl 54) with Brock Purdy under center for SF and several new skill players for KC.
The Chiefs offense has taken a slight step back this year, but has still performed very well. The Niners dominated during the regular season — winning 11 games but 10 points or more — but faltered a bit in the postseason.
With the prowess and efficiency of both offenses, it will be a couple of timely stops by one of the defense that changes the game. Kansas City’s defensive issues are largely in the secondary but they’ve struggled at times to provide pressure with the front four, which could haunt them against Purdy.

There is an interesting play on the under for the second half though. This season in Chiefs wins, the under is 18-2. To the 49ers’ credit they’ve held good teams to a score or less in the second half for most of the regular season games.
