At least 4 injured in shooting at park in Rogers Park, Fire Department says

At least four people were wounded during a shooting in the Rogers Park neighborhood Sunday afternoon, officials said. One of them had gone to a nearby firehouse to ask for help.

A spokesperson for the Chicago Fire Department said emergency services responded to Pottawattomie Park at 7340 N. Rogers Ave. shortly after 3:30 p.m.

Three of the people shot were in critical condition, and paramedics transported them to Ascension Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston. Another person was transported to Swedish Hospital. One of the victims walked to the Fire Department’s Engine 102, a short distance away at 7340 N. Clark St.
