Orland Park police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Wednesday night in the 170th block of Redbud Lane.
Officers responded to shots fired call at 12:03 a.m. and found a person shot inside a vehicle, police said.
The person received medical attention but died as a result of their injuries, police said.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
