Things to do in Chicago this weekend: Shamrock Shuffle, Holi at Navy Pier and Romantasy Literature Festival

Asian Pop-Up Cinema: This five-week festival starts this weekend with a look at Taiwanese cinema. Highlights this weekend include the international premiere of “The Young Hoodlum,” which will be shown in Mandarin with English subtitles. Film Girl Film Festival: This film festival, which originated in Milwaukee, comes to Chicago’s Music Box Theatre for the first time this year. Both in-person and virtual screenings are available. Romantasy Literature Festival: Dive into the combined world of romance and fantasy as authors from across the U.S. come to this festival. Chicago authors include Lana Harper, Megan Mackie and Tamara Jerée. There will be book signings, author Q&A sessions and podcast tapings, plus special performances of “Twihard! A Twilight Musical Parody.” Through March 24 at Otherworld Theatre, 3914 N. Clark St., day passes are $30 and weekend passes are $120 at otherworldtheatre.org
