Aurora police said the investigation is continuing into a shooting in the city March 24 that left a man critically injured.
At 2:19 a.m. March 24, Aurora police officers were called to an alley in the 700 block of East New York Street after a local resident heard someone screaming for help, according to a post on the Aurora Police Department’s Facebook page.
Officers arrived at the scene and found an 18-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds inside a parked vehicle, police said.
Aurora Fire Department paramedics transported the man to a local hospital for treatment of critical injuries, according to the Facebook post. No other injuries were reported during the incident.
