More bands have been announced as music headliners at this summer’s Illinois State Fair, including the Smashing Pumpkins.
The from-Chicago alternative band will play the Grandstand on Aug. 16, with guest PVRIS. Tickets ($55-$125) go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. April 5 with pre-sales now open; www.ticketmaster.com.
Previously announced for the 2024 Illinois State Fair in Springfield; all concerts at 8 p.m. and Grandstand tickets do not include fair admission (more information at statefair.illinois.gov):
