A 23-year-old man was discovered stabbed to death overnight on the Lower West Side, Chicago police said.
Shortly after 4:15 a.m., officers responded to a call of a person down in the 1600 block of South Loomis Street and found the victim lying on the ground with several stab wounds, police said.
The man had suffered wounds to the back, abdomen and shoulder, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives were investigating the circumstance leading up to the stabbing. No one was in custody.
