Park Ridge is stepping into summer with a new evening event on Saturdays, the 100-year anniversary of the Park Ridge Public Library’s summer reading program and the return of favorite festivals.

June 13

Park Ridge Public Library is kicking off 100 years of its Summer Reading program. Children and adults can register at parkridgelibrary.org to track their reading for a chance to win prizes. Celebrate at an Aug. 10 fest on the library lawn.

June 15

Park Ridge Farmers Market, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday through fall, 15 Prairie Ave., Park Ridge.

June 20

Pride celebration in Park Ridge, 6 to 9 p.m., corner of Prospect and Crescent. Family-oriented activities, face painting, music, food vendors.

June 21

“A Taylor Experience” concert in Hodges Park, 101 S. Courtland, Park Ridge. 7 to 10 p.m. Free.

June 22
