15-year-old boy among 2 wounded in double shooting on Southeast Side

A 15-year-old boy was critically wounded Monday night in a double shooting in the South Chicago neighborhood, Chicago police said.

Shortly after 10 p.m., a group was standing in the 2900 block of East 90th Street when someone opened fire striking two victims. A boy was struck to the right abdomen, and was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital where he was listed in critical condition, police said.

A 30-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the right hand and leg, and was taken to UChicago Medicine in good condition.

No one was in custody, and detectives were investigating.
