27-year-old man robbed, stabbed after argument overnight on CTA bus

A 27-year-old man was in good condition after an argument with a passenger on a CTA bus escalated to him being stabbed and robbed overnight on the West Side.

Chicago police said shortly before 10:30 p.m. the victim was involved in an argument with another passenger while riding a CTA bus in the 300 block of North Cicero Avenue in the West Garfield Park neighborhood.

The person he was arguing with pulled out a sharp object and made contact before fleeing the scene, police said.

The man was taken with a laceration to the shoulder to Mount Sinai Hospital and listed in good condition.

No one was in custody, and detectives were investigating.
