An unidentified man who was walking Wednesday night on Lower Wacker Drive was hit by a semi-truck that fled the scene, Chicago police said.
Shortly after 10 p.m., the man was walking in the fist block of East Lower Wacker Drive when he was hit by a semi-truck that fled the scene, police said.
The man suffered trauma to the body, and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
No one was in custody for the fatal hit and run and detectives were investigating.
