Taste of Park Ridge featured offerings from many cuisines

Visitors strolled the Summit Avenue midway of Taste of Park Ridge on a sunny Thursday July 18, checking out offerings from ethnic cuisines from around the world. Meanwhile, others staked out their spots in the concert area, waiting for that day’s headline act Hello Weekend to take the stage.

Friday saw the The Ginger Road and Kashmir: The Led Zeppelin Experience play, and Saturday was capped by performances by Heart to Heartbreaker and the Lounge Puppets.

Visitors sampled food from such varied places as Que Bola Cuban Cuisine, Panino’s Pizza, Mexico Restaurant, Himalayan Restaurant, Joseph’s Finest Meats (Italian beef and sausage sandwiches), Chicago Ramen, Shemroon Kabab and Poke Burrito.

For dessert, Triple Scoop’d offered ice cream, Smallcakes sold cupcakes, Leila Love tempted with macarons and Panino’s offered different flavors of Italian ices.
