Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Apr. live cattle rose.33 cent at $1.1935 a pound; Mar. feeder cattle gained .75 cent at $1.3535 a pound; while Apr. lean hogs was up .13 cent at $.8730 a pound.
