Temperatures are cooling in a sure sign that fall is right around the corner. For Chicago, this autumnal season also means a plethora of arts and entertainment offering to fill up your calendars.

On stage, theatergoers can enjoy what may be the best fall lineup of shows since before the pandemic, with offerings ranging from “Pericles” at Chicago Shakespeare Theater to “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” at Nederlander Theatre.

From the writers, columnists and critics of A+E, here are all of the Tribune’s fall 2024 guides for arts and entertainment, from music and museums to dance and art.
