A 16-year-old boy was wounded overnight while he was walking in the Lower West Side neighborhood, Chicago police said.
About 2:45 a.m. Wednesday, the boy was walking in the 1900 block of West Ogden Avenue when someone opened fire, striking him to the torso. He was dropped off at Stroger Hospital where he was listed in fair condition, police said.
No one was in custody and detectives were investigating.
