The Jacksonville Jaguars arrived overseas for Sunday’s game later than planned — at 5 a.m. (1000 GMT) Friday — after adjusting their travel schedule because of Hurricane Milton.
They already had canceled a news conference for Friday and rescheduled it for Saturday morning at their hotel and practice space in Watford, England. The Jaguars will play the Chicago Bears at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (8:30 a.m. Sunday, NFL Network and Fox-32).
Bears coach Eberflus declined to discuss how that might affect Sunday’s game; the Bears arrived Tuesday.
“We’re going to focus on how we go about our business and getting ourselves ready to play the game,” he said.
The Jaguars have played 11 times in London. For those games, they regularly depart on Thursday night and arrive Friday morning.
Like last season, the Jaguars will be playing back-to-back games in London. After facing the Bears, they will stay in the U.K. and play the following Sunday — Oct. 20 — against the New England Patriots at Wembley Stadium.
