A 35-year-old man who was involved in an argument with another passenger Thursday night on a CTA bus was stabbed in the back once he exited and a fight ensued, Chicago police said.
About 9:35 p.m., the victim was involved in an argument on a CTA bus in the first block of West 79th Street. Once the victim and the person he was arguing with exited the bus the argument turned into a fight and the victim was stabbed in the back with a knife, police said.
Police arrested the man’s attacker, and the victim was taken to UChicago Medicine where he was listed in good condition.
Detectives were investigating, and charges were pending.
