A 33-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man were listed in critical condition after being wounded Friday night in a shooting in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood, Chicago police said.
Shortly before 8 p.m., the victims were standing outside in the 1300 block of West 87th Street when a gunman opened fire striking them both, police said.
The woman suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen, and the man was shot twice to the arm and once to the abdomen. The victims got themselves to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where they were listed in critical condition, police said.
No one was in custody and detectives were investigating.
