A 74-year-old man was in critical condition after being shot in the North Center neighborhood Monday morning, according to Chicago police.
Police said the man got out of his vehicle around 9 a.m. in the 2000 block of West Berteau Avenue. At that time, two people began shooting at the man.
The man suffered two gunshot wounds in his left arm and a graze wound in his neck. He was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in critical condition, according to police.
As of 11 a.m., no one was in custody.
