Introducing the 2024 Post-Tribune Boys Soccer All-Area Team

Crown Point’s Brayden Kurtz headlines the group, which also includes three of his teammates and four Munster players.

FIRST TEAM

Josh Carter, Illiana Christian, junior, midfielder: Had 10 goals and 12 assists. All-state honorable mention, all-district first team, all-conference.

Nikola Dimitrijevic, Munster, senior, midfielder: Had 24 goals and six assists. All-state first team, all-district first team, all-conference.

Will Donley, Valparaiso, sophomore, forward: Had 23 goals and nine assists. All-state honorable mention, all-district first team, all-conference.

George Karabatsos, Lake Central, junior, midfielder: Had 12 goals and five assists. All-district second team, all-conference.

Brayden Kurtz, Crown Point, junior, midfielder: Had 10 goals and nine assists. All-state first team, all-district first team, all-conference.

Matthew Maldonado, Merrillville, senior, midfielder: Had seven goals and five assists. All-district first team, all-conference.

Vuk Maric, Munster, senior, goalkeeper: Had a 1.21 goals-against average and four shutouts. All-state second team, all-district first team, all-conference.

George O’Connor, Chesterton, senior, defender: Helped record 1.24 goals-against average and six shutouts. All-state second team, all-district first team, all-conference.

Kyle Otworowski, Hanover Central, junior, forward: Had 21 goals and nine assists. All-state third team, all-district first team, all-conference.

Jesus Sanchez, Lowell, senior, forward: Had 24 goals and four assists. All-district first team, all-conference.

Cal Stuckert, Chesterton, junior, forward: Had 23 goals and three assists. All-district first team, conference MVP.

SECOND TEAM

Oliver Brewer, Crown Point, sophomore, goalkeeper: Had a 1.00 goals-against average and nine shutouts. All-state honorable mention, all-district first team, all-conference.

Gavin Castellanos, Boone Grove, senior, midfielder: Had 12 goals and five assists. All-conference.

Gavin Guess, Hobart, senior, forward: All-district first team, all-conference.

Landyn Hoyhtya, Crown Point, junior, forward: Had 15 goals and nine assists. All-district second team, all-conference.

Jack Luth, Valparaiso, junior, defender/forward: Had eight goals and 12 assists; also helped record 1.95 goals-against average and eight shutouts. All-conference.

Lukis Raymond, Munster, senior, defender: Helped record 1.21 goals-against average and four shutouts. All-district second team, all-conference.

Joaquin Rosas, Bishop Noll, sophomore, forward: Had 18 goals and one assist. All-conference.

Caden Spagna, Kouts, senior, forward: Had program-record 29 goals and four assists. Conference MVP.

Cooper Spagna, Morgan Township, senior, forward: Had program-record 26 goals and five assists. All-conference.

Ethan Tarry, Lake Central, freshman, midfielder: Had six goals and three assists. All-conference.

Logan Zilz, Hanover Central, junior, midfielder: Had three goals and 10 assists. All-conference.
