Introducing the 2024 Naperville Sun Girls Volleyball All-Area Team

Benet’s Aniya Warren headlines the group, which includes six of her teammates.

FIRST TEAM

Audrey Asleson, Benet, senior, setter: Had 596 assists, 143 digs, 116 kills, 59 blocks and 36 aces for Class 4A state runner-up. All-conference. Committed to Colorado.

Brooklynne Brass, Benet, junior, outside hitter: Had 184 kills, 109 digs and 31 blocks in 28 matches for Class 4A state runner-up. All-conference, all-state honorable mention. Committed to Maryland.

Gabby Stasys, Benet, senior, middle hitter: Had 99 kills and 78 blocks for Class 4A state runner-up. Committed to Yale.

Lynney Tarnow, Benet, junior, middle hitter: Had 247 kills, 92 blocks and 35 aces for Class 4A state runner-up. Class 4A all-state second team, all-conference. Committed to Wisconsin.

Georgia Von Lehmden, Naperville Central, senior, right-side hitter: Had 164 kills on .238 hitting percentage, 45 digs, 37 blocks and 19 aces. All-conference.

Aniya Warren, Benet, senior, libero: Had 312 digs, 78 assists and 16 aces for Class 4A state runner-up. Class 4A all-state first team, conference player of the year. Committed to Purdue.

SECOND TEAM

Morgan Asleson, Benet, senior, defensive specialist: Had 160 digs, 35 aces and 13 assists for Class 4A state runner-up. Committed to Dayton.

Makenna Devick, Naperville Central, senior, outside hitter: Had 249 kills, 124 digs, 34 aces and 32 blocks. All-conference.

Naomi Dowd, Waubonsie Valley, senior, right-side hitter: Had 203 kills on .261 hitting percentage and 30 blocks. All-conference. Committed to Northern Illinois.

Keira O’Donnell, Benet, senior, outside hitter: Had 182 kills, 76 digs and 24 blocks for Class 4A state runner-up. All-conference. Committed to Southern Mississippi.

Katie Schuele, Metea Valley, senior, setter: Had 785 assists, 149 digs, 82 kills, 58 aces and 27 blocks. Class 4A all-state second team, conference player of the year. Committed to East Carolina.

Addison Torain, Metea Valley, senior, outside hitter: Had 265 kills, 140 digs, 40 aces and 25 blocks. All-state honorable mention, all-conference. Committed to Winthrop.
