Chicago White Sox’s fan festival returns for 1st time since 2020: ‘SoxFest Live’ will be at Ramova Theatre

The Chicago White Sox provided details of the return of their fan festival after a four-year absence on Friday.

The event, titled “SoxFest Live,” will take place from 5-9 p.m. on Jan. 24 and Jan. 25 at Ramova Theatre.

It will feature “interactive entertainment, engaging on-stage programming and Q&As with players, and opportunities to look back at memorable milestone moments in White Sox history alongside franchise greats.” The news release added, “attendees will hear firsthand from White Sox leadership and coaches about the season ahead and plans for developing the future.”

General admission tickets are $56, with a limited amount of premium tickets for the MVP Experience priced at $225.

Tickets go on sale Tuesday at noon through Etix on the Ramova Theatre website, ramovachicago.com. Sox season ticket holders will have access to a presale, offering specially priced tickets beginning at 9 a.m. while supplies last.

The weekend will also include a kids camp at 2 p.m. on Jan. 25 at the Chicago Park District’s ComEd Rec Center near Pilsen. Registration is $35 and opens Tuesday in conjunction with the SoxFest Live ticket sale.

The most recent SoxFest — the 28th edition — occurred in late January 2020. The 2021 event was canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. 2022 SoxFest also was canceled, with the Sox noting at the time the challenges of projecting and managing COVID-19-related protocols in an indoor setting.

SoxFest did not take place last year “due to several factors,” the Sox said at the time. The Sox first announced the event would be back in some form for 2025 in January.

General admission includes access to Ramova Theatre’s main level for on-stage programming as well as meet-and-greet opportunities throughout the venue. The MVP Experience includes early entry for the White Sox Black Carpet, access to a premium lounge area and private meet-and-greet session on the balcony, as well as four lower level tickets to a select 2025 Sox home game.

There’s also a “SoxFest Live After Party,” featuring a one-hour reception offering food and drinks, activities and games alongside White Sox VIPs.

Guest appearances, performances and spotlighted conversations will be announced in the coming weeks. Additional information about SoxFest Live and the on-sale is available at whitesox.com/SoxFestLive.
