A 47-year-old woman was taken into custody after she drove a sedan into a convenience store Monday night in the O’Hare neighborhood in Chicago Ridge, Chicago police said.
Shortly after 8:35 p.m., the woman was inside a parked black sedan in the 5300 block of North Cumberland Avenue when she drove into a convenience store, police said.
The woman was not injured and was placed into custody at the scene. No one was reported injured from inside the store.
Charges were pending, police said.
