DRUGS-GUNS: A Nov. 17 search of a home in the 5600 block of West 81st Place resulted in the arrest of three residents and an Orland Park man and the recovery of 34.5 opiate-based pills, 47 grams of methamphetamines, 92 grams of cocaine, 38 black market ADHD-treatment pills, 127 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, three ecstasy pills, 110 grams of cannabis, 47 black market tranquilizer pills, three loaded 9 mm pistols, $1,447 and four digital scales, police said. Zaher Bustami, 51, is charged with possessing cocaine with intent to deliver and possessing a controlled substance. Nick Y. Samhan, 48, is charged with possessing amphetamines with intent to deliver, possessing cocaine with intent to deliver, possessing cannabis with intent to deliver, possessing a firearm with a revoked state gun permit, 10 counts of possessing a controlled substance and obstructing justice. Matthew J. Passo, 58, is charged with possessing methamphetamines and possessing a controlled substance. Galeb Mizyed, 55, 13800 block of Creek Crossing Drive, Orland Park, is charged with possessing a controlled substance.

HOME INVASION: Residents in the 9600 block of Francisco Avenue awoke to noises downstairs at about 8 p.m. Nov. 18 witnessed two men fleeing the home, police said.
Homewood
GUN POSSESSION: Khalid Crockerhan, 19, Chicago, was arrested Oct. 27 and accused of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and assault after pointing one of two loaded handguns at a drive-through employee at Portillo’s, 17500 Halsted St., police said.
Lockport
GUN POSSESSION: Justin J. Maschinski, 24, Streamwood was arrested Nov. 23 and accused of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and damaging property after officers recovered a loaded handgun while investigating a broken car window in the Commerce public parking lot and determined he lacked a state concealed carry license, police said.
Monee
PHONE SCAM: A man saying he was a federal agent called a resident Nov. 15 threatening arrest if back taxes weren’t immediately paid, but the resident flagged down a police officer, police said. The purported IRS agent immediately disconnected when he learned law enforcement was listening, police said.
Oak Lawn
DUI CRASH: A Rockford woman involved in a four-car crash Nov. 20 in the 9200 block of Central Avenue that sent several people to the hospital was arrested and subsequently charged with aggravated drunken driving, aggravated battery and driving on a suspended license, police said. Gisselle Jaramillo, 25, repeatedly hit a 60-year-old woman immediately after the chain collision and later hit an emergency room nurse with an on-call instrument, police said.
Orland Park
GUN POSSESSION: Janell N. McGinnis, 33, 500 block of Jeffery Avenue, Calumet City, was arrested and accused of unlawful use of a weapon Oct. 26 in the 18300 block of La Grange Road after officers recovered a loaded .380 caliber pistol and determined she lacked a concealed carry license, police said.
DUI CRASH: Guillermo G. Regalado, 23, 15100 block of Briar Lane, Oak Forest, was arrested Nov. 2 and accused of drunken driving and failing to reduce speed to avoid a collision after driving off the road into a tree at 108th Avenue and Coyle Court, police said.
HIGH-SPEED: Layal B. Aon, 18, 9600 block of Austin Avenue, Oak Lawn, was arrested Nov. 2 and accused of aggravated speeding, driving with a tinted front windshield, illegally transporting alcohol, suspended registration and having no proof of insurance after an officer clocked her vehicle at 117 mph in the 13600 block of La Grange Road, police said.
Palos Hills
PREDATORY ASSAULT: Ahmad E. Alzobi, 60, 8800 block of 98th Street, is scheduled to appear in Cook County court at Bridgeview, Dec. 6, charged with predatory criminal sexual assault of a child, according to a court spokesperson. The alleged assault occurred Nov. 5, police said.
Park Forest
DUI CRASH: Ronrecus J. Griffin, 44, 22400 block of Coachway Lane, Richton Park, was arrested Nov. 17 and accused of drunken driving and failing to reduce speed to avoid a collision after hitting another vehicle at Western Avenue and Steger Road, police said.
RECKLESS SHOOTING: Anthony L. Brown, 54, first block of Sangamon Court, Park Forest, was charged with reckless discharge of a firearm after firing a 9 mm pistol into the air Nov. 20 in an attempt to break up a fight in that block, police said.
Steger
DOMESTIC: Darius T. Pettit, 39, Steger, was arrested Nov. 22 in the 23000 block of Sherman Road and accused of two counts of aggravated domestic battery, aggravated unlawful restraint and robbery, police said. Pettit, convicted in California of criminal sexual assault/force when he was 32 and the victim was 60, was also charged with failing to register as a sex offender in Steger, police said.
